Customer Forgets Passport and Ticket Before Boarding Train; 7-Eleven Laos Manager at VTE Railway Station Ensures Their Timely Return

A customer at 7-Eleven VTE Railway Station (Store No. 60037) in Laos accidentally left a passport and train ticket at the counter inside the store.

While on duty, Chanthala Phannamvong, the store manager, noticed a passport and train ticket left at the store counter with no one claiming ownership. She immediately handed the documents over to the railway station’s information desk so that staff could quickly locate the customer and prevent the loss of these important documents.

Shortly thereafter, the Chinese customer realized that the passport and train ticket were missing and contacted the railway station for assistance. The traveler was then informed that both items had been safely secured, allowing them to be reclaimed in time before departure.

The customer was extremely relieved and grateful, expressing sincere appreciation to the store staff for helping recover the items and coordinating their timely return. As a passport is an essential travel document, its loss could have significantly disrupted the journey and required extensive procedures before travel could continue.

Chanthala Phannamvong said that all store employees are dedicated to helping customers whenever possible, understanding that a passport is an important document, particularly for those who are traveling. She expressed her delight at seeing the customer safely recover the documents and continue the journey without concern, adding that helping others is always something the store team is happy to do.

This incident reflects the attentiveness and honesty of Chanthala Phannamvong, whose prompt action helped ensure the customer’s important documents were returned in time. Her actions provided peace of mind and left a positive impression on the customer. It is also another example of 7-Eleven’s “24-Hour Goodness DNA,” demonstrated through sincere acts of helping others in everyday situations
